Due to the pandemic, the Mobility to Spain planned for March 2020 was suspended. After meeting all the partners through several video calls, we determined to ask for an extension to the project to our National Agencies and finish the project in a proper way.

The Virtual Mobility took place from 10th to 14th May (8.30-12.30). Every day ten different student from each school connected through a Google Meet link and the Spanish showed them some videos and presentations  related to the topic we were dealing with in the CALILIE project, that is , Medieval Ages in Spain.

In this link, we can find all the presentations with some questionnaire that the Italian and Czech students had to fill in the last day.

The first Mobility of students took place on December 1st, when the Czech and Spanish delegations arrived in Orte and the host families welcomed them at the train station. Ahead, a long week full of activities and emotions in which the students and teachers would work together on a very exciting project designed by proffesor Mazzoli using TOUR CREATOR.
Before the Mobility, all the students involved in the exchange had seen the film Angels & Demons, which would be the reference for the guided tour in Rome, since the project was focused on some Baroque buildings and sculptures which appeared in the film.

Once the exchange students were selected, they took a Mock Test just to check the level of English they had. The test took place at the end of March and the results were published on the web of every School participating in the Project. When this Project finishes, all the students will take a new test in order to see how much they have improved in English in the time the project has been implemented.

About the project
CALILIE 2018- 2020 is a project of three schools that focuses on improving students' language skills and their knowledge of the subject of History at the same time. The participant schools have chosen the CLIL method to be the major technique for the project, with English as the target language. The schools come from three different European countries (Italy, Spain and The Czech Republic), therefore international relationships and cooperation are expected to be established, resulting in enhancing participants' awareness of foreign culture.

On December 3rd, 4th, 5th, the first Transnational Meeting took place in Orte. The three delegations from Italy, Spain and the Czech Republic got together in the Istituto Omnicomprensivo, where they started to organise the timeline of the different activities and mobilities of students along the next two years.

A member of each delegation presented their school manegement to the rest of teachers, with the help of slides or videos. In this way all of them could get to know each other better.
